I HAVE HAD A WONDERFUL WEEK!!!

I have had a very busy but exciting and very fun week. Last friday my husband and I took our two girls camping with my mother and step-dad. We stayed until monday in their very nice and comfortable camper. I do have to say if they did not have a camper it definitely would have been too hot to go with the girls being so young. I enjoyed some much needed girl time with my husband's cousin heather that stayed a night with us and laid out in the water with me for several hours. I love my new tan that I have been getting these past couple of weeks, I must say a good tan does a body well!!! My husband and a couple of guys went fishing at night each night that we were their and I am assuming he got some much needed alone time, or at least time away from me and the girls. Kylee love's the lake so much that she decided to ask her mimi if she could go back up their so my mom picked her up yesterday afternoon and she will be their all weekend but of course my husband and I want to join her so we will be returning to the lake friday afternoon. Today I went to my cousin's new in-ground swimming pool, I should say it is absolutely amazing!!! Kaylor and I stayed for about 2 1/2 hours and that was enough for her. I was able to do a little more laying out and get some more of a tan. Kaylor swam necked for about 20 minutes and she loved it. I even put a shirt on her afterwards that I bought from the Gap that says "I'd Rather Be Naked" and it was perfect, so I must conclude by saying I have had an absolutely positively wonderful week and I hope it only continues to get better!!!!

PLEASE PRAY FOR MY AUNT!!!

ON THE 4TH OF JULY MY FAMILY AND I WENT TO A PARTY AT A COUSIN'S HOUSE AND MUCH TO OUR SURPRISE MY VERY SWEET AND LOVING AUNT MARY WAS NOT ABLE TO ATTEND, AT THE TIME I DID NOT THINK MUCH ABOUT IT BUT LATER ON I WAS TOLD THAT SHE HAD TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL AND THAT THEY ADMITTED HER. SHE HAS SEVERAL ILLNESSES THAT SHE HAS BEEN BATTLING OVER A LONG PERIOD OF TIME AND HAS JUST RECENTLY BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH SOME CHRONIC LUNG DISORDERS AND THEY HAVE BEGUN TO TAKE A TOLL ON HER. SATURDAY EVENING MY AUNT WAS TRANSPORTED FROM A NORMAL ROOM IN THE BAPTIST HOSPITAL TO A INTENSIVE CARE UNIT. FOR A DAY SHE WAS ON 100% OXYGEN AND WAS BATTLING TO BREATHE. RIGHT NOW SHE IS STILL IN INTENSIVE CARE AND IS ON 50% OXYGEN. TOMORROW AT 11:00a.m. THE DOCTORS ARE GOING TO GO IN AND LOOK AT HER LUNGS AND GET A BETTER IDEA OF WHAT IS GOING ON. SHE DESPERATELY NEEDS LOVE AND SUPPORT AND AT A TIME LIKE THIS SHE NEEDS PRAYER. MY AUNT MARY IS VERY SWEET AND KIND TO ALL THAT HAVE COME TO KNOW HER AND SHE HAS HAD A REALLY ROUGH 2 YEARS OR LONGER. SO PLEASE LET US ALL KEEP HER IN OUR PRAYERS AND HOPE FOR HER THE DOCTOR'S TO FIND WHAT IS GOING ON AND BE ABLE TO FIX IT.

GETTING READY FOR THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND!!

LAST YEAR ON THE 4TH OF JULY KYLEE WAS BARELY 2 YEARS OLD AND IT WAS HER FIRST MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE WITH THE 4TH OF JULY. WE TOOK HER TO A FIREWORK STAND AND BOUGHT LOTS OF PRETTY FIREWORKS FOR HER TO WATCH AND OOH AT. LITTLE DID WE KNOW OUR CHILD DID NOT LIKE THE LITTLE FIREWORKS WE HAD BOUGHT HER LIKE THE SNAKES, SNAPPERS, AND SPARKLERS, INSTEAD SHE LIKED THE BIG "BOOM BOOMS" AS SHE CALLED THEM. SHE WANTED TO WATCH THE LOUD, VERY BEAUTIFUL, AND VERY BIG FIREWORKS THAT YOU SEE AT THE ARKANSAS RIVER. KYLEE ALREADY THIS YEAR HAS BEEN TALKING ABOUT GETTING TO SEE THE BOOM BOOMS AND HOW HER DADDY AND PAWPAW ARE GOING TO BUY LOTS OF BIG ONES AND HAVE A SHOW FOR HER. I DO BELIEVE WITH THE WAY SHE HAS BOTH OF THEM WRAPPED AROUND HER FINGER, SHE CAN GET THEM TO SPENDS LOTS OF MONEY ON THE FIREWORKS AND HAVE A SHOW. I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON MY 4TH OF JULY TAN OR SHALL I SAY TRYING TO GET A TAN BEFORE THE 4TH OF JULY AND HOPEFULLY I WILL BE DARK ENOUGH NOT TO GLOW BY THE WATER OF MY COUSIN'S NEW INGROUND POOL AT HER HOUSE THAT WE WILL BE AT FOR OUR 4TH OF JULY PARTY!!! DON'T WORRY FAMILY AND FRIENDS, I WILL HAVE LOTS OF PICTURES TO SHOW YOU OF THE FUN AND I HOPE ALL OF YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY AND THAT IT BE TRULY BLESSED!!!

SALES SALES SALES, EVERYWHERE!!!

MY HUSBAND IS PLAYING GOLF TODAY IN A GOLF TOURNAMENT TO BENEFIT BAPTIST CHURCH'S, SO SINCE HE HAS BEEN GONE TODAY I DECIDED TO GO SHOPPING. I WENT TO OLD NAVY AND MUCH TO MY SURPRISE THEY ARE HAVING A HUGE 50% OFF SALE AND HAVE ALL OF THEIR BATHING SUITS, SHORTS, TANK TOPS, AND SOME SHIRTS FOR 5 DOLLARS AND BECAUSE THAT IS SUCH AN AWESOME DEAL I FELT LIKE I COULD DO SOME SPENDING. I BOUGHT THE GIRLS SEVERAL BATHING SUITS, MY HUSBAND A FEW PAIRS OF SWIMMING TRUNKS AND MYSELF SOME TANK TOPS AND SHIRTS. THE GIRLS AND I MET MY MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER AT MIMI'S CAFE AND ATE A WONDERFUL LUNCH. WHEN WE WERE EATING KAYLOR BEGAN TO GET REALLY CRANKY (I AM SURE SHE IS FUSSY TODAY BECAUSE SHE GOT HER 6 MONTH SHOTS YESTERDAY) AND I DECIDED TO LEAVE. KYLEE STAYED WITH MY MOTHER AND IS ATTENDING OUR NEPHEWS BIRTHDAY PARTY WITHOUT ME. OH YEAH I BOUGHT HIM SOME REALLY CUTE OUTFITS FROM OLD NAVY TOO. I WISH I COULD HAVE WENT TO HIS PARTY AND I FEEL VERY BADLY THAT I COULD NOT BUT I KNOW BEING AT HOME RIGHT NOW LETTING KAYLOR TAKE A MUCH NEEDED NAP IS WHAT IS BEST FOR HER!!!!

WE ARE TRULY BLESSED!!!

TODAY, I RECIEVED A PHONE CALL FROM MY HUSBAND AROUND 1:00p.m. AND BEFORE ANSWERING IT I WONDERED TO MYSELF "WHY IS HE CALLING" (I HAVE COME TO REALIZE MY HUSBAND IS VERY BUSY AT WORK AND HE CAN NOT CALL ME UNLESS IT IS VERY IMPORTANT) AND WHEN I ANSWERED THE FIRST THING MY HUSBAND SAID IS "GOD IS TRULY WATCHING OVER US" AND I IMMEDIATELY RESPONDED BY SAYING "WHY DO YOU SAY THAT" AND HE SAID YOU KNOW HOW WE SPENT ALL THAT MONEY LAST NIGHT BUYING OUT OF OUR ALLTEL/VERIZON CONTRACT AND SWITCHING TO ATT&T AND PURCHASING US BOTH IPHONE'S" I SAID "YES I KNOW HOW MUCH WE SPENT" AND HE SAID" WELL MY SUPERVISOR COME OUT TO MY JOB TODAY AND HAD ME A $500.00 BONUS FOR A JOB A DID SEVERAL MONTHS BACK AND WE COULD NOT HAVE USED THIS MONEY AT A BETTER TIME AND HE SAID I KNOW GOD HAS BEEN WITH US" AND I RESPONDED BY SAYING"YES I KNOW HE IS WITH US BECAUSE WE HAVE BEGUN TO LIVE OUR LIVE'S FOR HIM AND WE OUR ON THE PATH THAT HE WANTS US TO TRAVEL ON". I AM TELLING YOU THIS STORY BECAUSE EVERY SO MANY DAYS IT HITS ME ABOUT HOW TRULY BLESSED I AM AND HOW AWESOME OUR GOD IS!!! 4 MONTHS AGO MY BABY WAS SERIOUSLY ILL, I HAD TO QUIT MY JOB AND LOSE A BIG HOUSE HOLD INCOME, MY HEALTH WAS NOT GREAT, AND MY HUSBAND WAS FACING A POSSIBLE LAY OFF, IF YOU HAD ASKED ME 4 MONTHS AGO WHERE I WOULD BE TODAY I WOULD HAVE SAID "I DON'T KNOW, BUT NOW THAT MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE DEVOTED OURSELVES AND OUR FAMILY TO GOD WE HAVE BEEN MORE BLESSED THEN EVER BEFORE. MY BABY IS HEALTHY AND HAPPY, I STAY AT HOME WITH MY GIRLS AND LOVE EVERY MINUTE OF MY TIME WITH THEM, MY HUSBAND IS MAKING MORE MONEY THEN WE MADE COMBINED OVER 4 MONTHS AGO, WE HAVE NOT STRUGGLED ARE WANTED FOR ANYTHING AND MY HUSBAND HAS MADE IT THROUGH HIS COMPANY'S LAYOFF'S. WHEN I THINK OF WHAT ALL GOD HAS DONE FOR US I BECOME SPEECHLESS AND KNOW THAT MIRACLES DO HAPPEN. ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH OUR AMAZING GOD!!!

A DAY FULL OF THINGS TO DO!!!

Since Kylee is still and the lake with my mom and step-dad and will not be back until later tonight, Kaylor and I are going to run some much needed errands around town, we are going to go to a store in Bryant Arkansas called Giggles and Wiggles, I have been trying to go to this store for weeks and everytime I go they are closed. After that we are going to hit the dollar tree to see if they have anything we may need for the house. After the dollar tree we are going to complete our day with grocery shopping at Kroger. Oh yeah and I also have to get my medicines filled. I hope today will go alot easier then I am imagining it to go, at least I already know what to expect with a six month old. She is already fussy and is yelling at me right now, so I am making this post short and sweet.

OUR MINI VACATION TO THE LAKE!!!

This is the bag I bought for Kaylor for when she gets a little older, The P is for the first letter in our last name!!!

OH MY GOODNESS, I wish someone would have told me how hard it was going to be trying to take a 3 year old and a six month old to the lake!!! Me, Kylee, and Kaylor, left monday morning and went to a lake in Hot Springs Arkansas where my mother and brother were waiting for us. We planned this trip in advance and we were all excited to spend quality family time together but little did we know 3 kids and 4 adults in a camper with two of the kids being 6 months old would not be as pleasant as what we had imagined.

OH AND DON'T LET ME FORGET TO MENTION THAT I FORGOT TO TAKE ONE OF THE THREE DIGITAL CAMERA'S WE HAVE, SO I DID NOT GET ANY ADORABLE PICTURES OF THIS MINI VACATION.

The First Day was great, me and the girls played in the water for a long time and then we ate and took several naps throughout the day but when the night came all the greatness turned to disaster. My brother's baby Landon screamed in pain for what seemed like forever and every time her cried my baby Kaylor thought she had to wake up and get ready to play. My brother and his wife rushed Landon to the hospital in Hot Springs and discovered Landon had an ear infection. After getting him his medicine they came to the camp and got all there stuff and went home.

The Second day started out great as well, we made breakfast and went into town and bought some supplies we needed from the local Walmart and I shopped at the cutest boutique for kids called Doodles for children boutique (the pictures of the cute things I bought are posted above). After shopping we got some food at the local On the Border mexican restuarant and took it back to the camp site and ate. Later on in the evening my wonderful husband surprised me and the girls and showed up at the campsite (after working all day) and spent some great quality time with the girls and I. He also took me fishing on the boat for awhile. We caught two fish each and got a little sun burn. After my hubby left we started to settle for bed until I began to feel sick and really get the feeling that I was ready to come home, but unfortunately it was too late so I had to make myself sleep and wait till the morning to leave.

The Third day was very short and sweet. I ate breakfast with everyone got all my bags packed and loaded up the car, then loaded up the girls and halled tale back home to my much missed, not as stressful as the lake, wonderful house. I am very glad we went to the lake because Kylee really enjoyed herself but Kaylor is still to young to have fun at place's like the lake and I get way to stressed out to go too often.
