KYLEE GRACE'S 3RD BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!

KYLEE HAD HER BIRTHDAY PARTY ON SUNDAY JUNE 14TH AT 3:00p.m. AT JUMP ZONE IN MAUMELLE. MY HUSBAND AND I ARRIVED AN HOUR BEFORE THE PARTY STARTED AND SET THE ROOM UP. WE DECORATED KYLEE'S PARTY ROOM WITH BARBIE DECORATIONS. WE ALSO SET UP HER CAKE AND ALL THE OTHER GOODIES THAT WENT WITH IT. THE BALLOONS WE ORDERED FROM JUMP ZONE THAT WERE PINK AND PURPLE MATCHED THE THEME WONDERFULLY. KYLEE WAS SO EXCITED TO JUMP ON ALL OF THE JUMPERS. I DID ONE OF THEM WITH HER AND AFTERWARDS REALIZED I NEED TO GET BACK IN SHAPE AGAIN. KYLEE HAD SO MANY FRIENDS AND FAMILY COME TO HER SPECTACULAR 3RD BIRTHDAY PARTY. WHEN IT CAME TIME TO EAT CAKE EVERYONE WAS DEFINITELY READY TO TRY THE AWESOME BARBIE CAKE WE HAD MADE AT CAKERY AFFAIRS IN BRYANT. THE BOTTOM OF THE CAKE WAS 12" INCH ROUND AND WAS VANILLA AND GERMAN CHOCOLATE. THE BARBIE CAKE THAT WAS ON TOP OF THE 12" INCH ROUND CAKE WAS STRAWBERRY CAKE (WITH FRESH STRAWBERRIES) EVERYONE SAID THE CAKE WAS DELICIOUS. KYLEE WAS TREATED TO HER VERY OWN MINATURE CAKE THAT WAS GERMAN CHOCOLATE (HER FAVORITE) AND SHE ATE LOTS OF IT AND EVEN HAD A PIECE OF THE BIG CAKE TOO. AFTER CAKE IT WAS TIME FOR PRESENTS (I COULD NOT BELIEVE SHE GOT SO MANY) AND IT SEEMED LIKE FOREVER FOR HER TO OPEN ALL OF THEM, BUT SHE LOVED EACH PRESENT VERY MUCH AND WE ARE SO THANKFUL TO EVERYONE WHO CAME TO HER WONDERFUL 3RD BIRTHDAY PARTY. THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH!!!

MY BABY KYLEE IS TURNING 3!!

It seems like it was yesterday when I was a newlywed (of only 2 months) and I was in the bathroom of my apartment with my husband standing at the door saying "what does it say?" "Are we pregnant?" and me eventually being able to say "Oh my, we are pregnant". Just weeks before finding out that we were pregnant one of my cousin's said "so are you going to be like me and get pregnant really quickly after getting married?" and kyle and I responded by saying "NO we are definitely going to wait a few years and then have children" but little did we know our precious baby Kylee had already been concieved. From the very moment I knew I was pregnant, MY LIFE CHANGED FOREVER. I began to eat all the right things, sleep all the right ways, drink all the nurturing drinks and truly become a mature women. I remember crying because none of my jeans fit and because I thought my husband thought I was fat and unattractive. My mom even rushed me to a maternity store and bought me knew pants and told me I would be able to fit into my old one's soon after having the baby (that was definitely a lie). Kylee Grace Pemberton (ONE OF THE TWO GREATEST LOVE'S OF MY LIFE) was born on JUNE 16TH, 2006. SHE WAS TRULY HER DADDY'S FATHER'S DAY PRESENT THAT YEAR. She came by c-section at 11:51p.m. and I remember the doctor saying he had never seen so many family members in a waiting room before. What can I say, everyone was anticipating her arrival. She has truly been my SWEET ANGEL from the very beginning and because her birthday party is this weekend I would like to share with you a letter I wrote to Kylee for her 3rd birthday.

KYLEE GRACE

I HAVE BEEN SO FORTUNATE TO HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH SUCH A LOVING, CARING, BEAUTIFUL AND VERY STRONG WILLED DAUGHTER. KNOWING THAT YOU ONCE GREW IN MY TUMMY AND MATURED IN IT FOR 9 MONTHS IS THE MOST AMAZING MEMORIES AS A MOTHER THAT I COULD EVER HAVE. MY LIFE BEGAN TO HAVE A PURPOSE THE DAY I FIRST HELD YOU IN MY ARMS. FROM THAT VERY MOMENT ON I KNEW I WAS MEANT TO BE YOUR MOTHER AND I WANTED NOTHING MORE THAN TO HOLD AND LOVE YOU FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. THROUGHOUT THESE LAST 3 YEARS WE HAVE SHARED A WONDERFUL BOND AS MOTHER AND DAUGHTER, IT HAS BEEN ONE THAT I COULD HAVE NEVER IMAGINED. I LOVE YOUR LAUGHTER, YOUR SMILE, YOUR BEAUTIFUL LONG CURLY LOCKS OF HAIR, YOUR BIG GREEN EYES, YOUR PRETTY TEETH, YOUR TALKING HABITS AND YOUR OUT GOING WITTY PERSONALITY. I ALSO LOVE TO HEAR PEOPLE SAY YOU LOOK JUST LIKE ME WHEN I WAS LITTLE. I LOVE BEING YOUR MOMMY AND GETTING TO HAVE THESE PRECIOUS MEMORIES OF YOUR LIFE AS YOU GROW UP. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE TURNING 3, EVEN THOUGH YOU ACT LIKE YOUR 18 ALREADY. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER 3 YEAR OLD WITH AS MANY PURSES AS YOU HAVE AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE THAT CAN WALK IN HIGH HEELS AS WELL AS YOU DO. I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I LOVE BEING YOUR MOTHER, AND I LIVE TO GIVE YOU A WONDERFUL LIFE AND FUFILL IT WITH ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES. THERE IS NOTHING I WOULD NOT DO FOR YOU AND MY LOVE FOR YOU IS THE GREATEST IMAGINABLE.

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!!!

I am 23 today, and this has been a very amazing birthday. My day started off with my husband wishing me a happy birthday before he went to work and telling me how much he loves me. Later in the day I got dressed up (I put a pair of my new jeans on, straightened my hair, did my make-up and put the girls in matching outfits that were too cute) and we went to my mother's. When we got there she surprised me with beautiful cards and cupcakes. She even gave me some money to buy myself something nice(I pot a new pair of seven jeans from indigo with it)and took me and the girls to lunch at chips barbeque. Later in the afternoon when kyle got off work he surprised me with a beautiful card and took me to get pedicure(which felt so good)and of course I got Kylee's toes and fingernails painted too for her birthday that is next week. Kyle also took me to eat at El Chico mexican restuarant(I love mexican food)and we enjoyed a really great dinner. El Chico was one of my dad's favorite restuarants and since he isn't here to share my birthday with me, I decided to eat at a place that reminded me of the wonderful times I had with him. To top my birthday off Kylee sang to me the most beautiful version (created by her) of happy birthday tht I have ever heard. This day was the best, and I cannot thank my family enough for their love and caring efforts to make my birthday as wonderful as it has been. 23 has started off being amazing, I hope that the rest of my year continue's to go this way!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

OUR WEEKEND!!!

My husband and I got to spend a little time together friday night, we only had our six month old Kaylor because our 3 year old Kylee was at the Beebe races watching her pawpaw try to win, unfortunately he did not win, he got 2nd place instead. Kylee loves to watch her pawpaw race and love's him so very much. I am very fortunate to have such a wonderful step-dad that treats my children as his own grandchildren. I worried when my dad passed away that my kids would miss out on a pawpaw but my step-dad has pushed all those worries aside and has been a wonderful grandparent to my children. Now back to the weekend, Friday night was great me, kyle and kaylor ate at Chili's and then went and looked at some tahoe's (still hoping I get one for my birthday) and then we came back to the house and enjoyed a quit evening. Saturday morning we got up and picked Kylee up from her grandparents and then recieved a phone call from Kyle's mother that she was was bringing our niece (JoJo) to stay the night. Once JoJo arrived we went to Chucke Cheese and ate and played a while, then we came home and watched movies and the girls destroyed my house from the front to the very back. I made them maraconi and hot dogs for supper and they played for what seemed like forever in Kylee's room and then they finally went to bed. Today we got up extremely early and the girls began to play and I gave them a bath and got everyone ready for church. We went to church and really enjoyed the service and now we are back at home. I really feel like I could pull my hair out because JoJo and Kylee together are into everything and the don't ever stop. Hope everyone else's weekend went well and that everyone was able to squeeze in some family time because in the end that is what is most important!!!

BIRTHDAY COUNT DOWN!!

I am so excited that my birthday is approaching so quickly this year, the only down side to it is my father will not be here to call me really early in the morning and sing me Happy Birthday the way that he always did. My Birthday is 3 days away and Kylee's birthday party is only 8 days aways. I told my husband that i want a cookie cake to eat for my Birthday since we are going to have such a big cake for Kylee's just a few days later. I also told him that I want a new car for my Birthday, I don't know for sure if that will be possible but we have gone looking at some SUV's and so far I found a black tahoe that I like alot. But regardless of what I get I will be happy to share another birthday with my family as a proud wife and mother.

JUNE BIRTHDAYS!!!!!!!

AS YOU KNOW IF YOU HAVE READ MY BLOGS HERE LATELY MY DAUGHTER KYLEE'S THIRD BIRTHDAY IS A LITTLE OVER TWO WEEKS AWAY AND I AM GETTING SO EXCITED AND OVERWHELMED AT THE SAME TIME, BUT WHAT I MAY HAVE FORGOTTEN TO MENTION IS THAT MY BIRTHDAY IS NEXT TUESDAY, ON JUNE 9TH I WILL BE 23 YEARS OLD. I KNOW, IT MAY SEEM STRANGE THAT I HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT MY DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY FOR MONTHS AND HAVE NOT SAID ANYTHING ABOUT MINE BUT WHEN I HAD KYLEE I KNEW THAT IT WASN'T ABOUT ME ANYMORE (DON'T GET ME WRONG I SILL EXPECT A GIFT FROM MY HUSBAND AND A LITTLE BIT OF BIRTHDAY WISHES) IT HAS BECOME ALL ABOUT KYLEE AND OUR NEW BABY KAYLOR. CHILDREN NEVER FORGET THEIR BIRTHDAYS AND IF THEY ARE TOO YOUNG TO REMEMBER THEN YOU REMIND THEM, I WANT MY GIRLS TO KNOW THAT I TRIED HARD TO GIVE THEM THE BEST OF EVERYTHING INCLUDING LOVING THEM THE MOST EVERDAY. SO BACK TO KYLEE'S BIRTHDAY. THE INVATIONS ARE OUT, THE CAKE IS COMPLETELY PAID FOR THE PARTY IS COMPLETELY PAID FOR AND THE DECORATIONS ARE FINISHED NOW ALL I HAVE LEFT IS HER GIFT. MY HUSBAND AND I TOOK KYLEE TOYSRUS LAST NIGHT TO LOOK AT SOME THINGS WITH HER AND GO FIGURE MY DAUGHTER PICKS OUT THE NEW BARBIE ESHALADE (SHE MEANS ESCALADE) WHICH HAPPENS TO BE $379.00. SHE SAYS THE NAME SO CUTE THAT IT MAKES YOU WANT TO BUY IT FOR HER BUT THEN I THINK WOW THAT IS REALLY EXPENSIVE ESPECIALLY FOR A BIRTHDAY PRESENT, I DON'T EVER REMEMBER GETTING GIFTS LIKE THAT. I DON'T KNOW WHAT WE ARE GOING TO GET HER, ONLY TIME WILL TELL, STAY TUNED AND YOU WILL FIND OUT SOON IF WE GET THE ESHALADE OR NOT.......
